Why Cobblestone Academy?
Coleen James, the director and instructor for Cobblestone Academy, has been teaching special needs students for close to 40 years. Cobblestone Academy provides a program that addresses academics, social skills, behavioral issues and physical health and wellness tailored to each child’s individual needs. Students may have an identified disability, or may have simply struggled with school in the past. At Cobblestone Academy, elementary, middle and high school students are taught together in one multi-age, multi-grade classroom. Instruction is carefully balanced to bring a student from where they are currently functioning to a level where they can reenter a public or private school if appropriate.
Cobblestone Academy can accommodate a range of students and grade levels.
